My name is Michael A. Sicurella. I was born and raised in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, and proudly serve as a volunteer firefighter for the Egg Harbor City Fire Department. I started Let There Be Light Electrical Services as a small, family-run company that values quality work and giving back to the local community.
While our business has been operating for three years, I have over 15 years of experience in the electrical field. We treat every customer with care and professionalism from the first call to the final inspection. Your satisfaction is always our top priority.
Our Services
Electrical Service Upgrades
We replace the meter socket and fire switch on the exterior of your home, run new service cables from the meter to the utility and from the fire switch to your electrical panel. We install a new panel with all new breakers, provide proper grounding with two ground rods and a bonding strip, and include a whole house surge protector to keep your appliances safe from lightning strikes or electrical surges.
Electrical Rewires
If your home has aluminum wiring, knob and tube, or older wiring without a ground, we will safely rewire the circuits. This includes outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. We also offer rewiring for homes affected by flooding, water damage, or hurricanes.
Recessed Lighting Installation
We specialize in adding recessed lights and ceiling fans without causing unnecessary holes or drywall damage.
Above Ground Pool Wiring
We install dedicated electrical circuits, GFCI-protected outlets, timers, and complete all grounding and bonding work to code. We also use our own trenching machine to minimize disruption to your yard.
New Construction Electrical
We handle electrical work from start to finish, including service setup, rough wiring, and final installation. We can follow standard layouts or create custom plans to suit your home or business.
Ceiling Fan and Light Fixture Installation
We remove old ceiling fans and fixtures and install new ones using proper ceiling boxes for secure support.

I had Mike and his Partner Dan come and install 4 fans and run the wiring for it as my house was wired long Time ago. They came at 4:30 and were done by 6:30. They were very quick, punctual and made sure everything worked as should. Much more reasonable with price than other companies.
